The Truth and the Light - Music from the X-Files is an album comprising excerpts of instrumental music scores from the first three seasons of the X-Files, along with portions of dialogue from the show. The music for the series was composed by Mark Snow. String and drum instruments are particularly apparent in many songs, however, the music on the album can best be described as ambient and electronic music with a darker side.
